Bio:

Lynn Chen is best-known for playing "Vivian Shing"  in  Sony Pictures Classic's  feature film "Saving Face," a role she won the "Outstanding Newcomer Award" for at the 2006 Asian Excellence Awards.

At the age of five, Lynn made her debut on the stage of The Metropolitan Opera House in a ballet featuring Rudolf Nuruyev.  As a child, she sang with the Children's Choirs at the Metropolitan and NYC Opera Houses, and made her Broadway debut in the revival of “South Pacific.”

Lynn decided to put off performing and focus on her education, graduating from her high school in Cresskill, NJ, and attending Wesleyan University in CT. But she couldn’t stay away for long. After a few years working as a waitress, a teacher, a musical director, and an administrative assistant, she decided to pursue a professional acting career.  She has  worked steadily ever since, appearing in numerous commercials, television shows, and films.

Lynn is also a musician, having studied classical piano since the age of seven. Between acting jobs, she is busy composing music for solo projects, and writing.
